Word, Heart & Mind #372 James 3:1-2 I have had many teachers in my life; most were average, some were terrible, and a few were exceptional. A high school geometry teacher told me that if I never returned to class, he'd give me a (barely) passing grade. He felt I was too disruptive. I don't dispute that, but he was the adult and the teacher responsible for instructing me. He was one of my worst teachers, not only because of that ridiculous choice he offered (which I readily accepted) but also because he often wasted a lot of time discussing politics and current events instead of geometry.
